NOOR THE MUSICAL

"Trapped by borders, shamed for love, and mocked by a mad government — Noor cooks to survive, dreams to be free."

About Noor The Musical

NOOR SYNOPSIS

"NOOR" is a captivating and thought-provoking musical set during the Corona Lockdown in the UK.

It follows Noor, an undocumented immigrant from Bangladesh working in an Indian cuisine.

Facing deportation and the responsibility to support his family, Noor's life takes a dramatic turn when he falls seriously ill.

Amidst the challenges, the musical explores conspiracy theories surrounding the pandemic from scientific and religious perspectives.

It also incorporates humorous reinterpretations of public announcements by Boris Johnson and his government during the lockdown, adding entertainment and social commentary.

As Noor's condition worsens, his coworkers and friends must decide whether to risk exposing his status by seeking medical help.

"NOOR" delves into resilience, community, and the pursuit of a better life, navigating the impact of conspiracy theories on Noor's journey and the surrounding community.

Experience the power of resilience, humor, and the search for truth in "NOOR" This remarkable musical challenges preconceptions, sparks conversations, and showcases the unwavering strength of the human spirit in the face of adversity.
